Goooood morning!

Saturday morning -- and I could be NOT up at this hour if I chose! However, the day looks bright and inviting, so I am indeed awake and getting on with my "to do" list so that I can take time to unwind later in the day and not feel quite so guilty about that. :-)

A very dear friend gave me this spot for my birthday, and I have not made the time until now to honor that thoughtful gifting. He posted the James Taylor lyrics for my birthday, too. Sans is one of the truest friends one could ever hope for, and I certainly count that friendship among my blessings.

Since all the way back to my grade school days when I would write rudimentary poems to share with my mom or my friends, I have wanted to write for meaning and impact. In recent years, I have come to better understand the process and value of simply writing for me. Now, it seems I am entering a time of merging the two. I have applied to attend a National Writing Project summer institute to explore and further my writing skills, inclinations, and creativity. Immersion is essential at times. Check out what that's about:

I must get back to the laundry and stuff, but I'll Arnold... "I will be baaaack!"

BIG hugs!
